Flowers and Eleanor Roosevelt pushed the score to 42-20 the last time they played Eleanor Roosevelt, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Jaguars never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 26-0 win. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Flowers' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damieon Butler, who threw for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also punched in one rushing score. 119 of Butler's passing yards were hauled in by Eliezer Johnson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Flowers didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tristan Saunders and Caleb Peterson. Flowers received some extra help from Tyger Williams, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Flowers has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points this season. As for Eleanor Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Flowers wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 17-6 victory against Wise on the 19th. As for Eleanor Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 36-0 win against Parkdale on the 20th.
