Softball Recap: Westminster Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Westminster extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 4-4. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blessed Trinity Titans. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for Blessed Trinity, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.0 runs this season.

For Blessed Trinity's part, Chelsea Lewis was excellent, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run and one double. Addie Spak was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Coincidentally, Westminster and Blessed Trinity will both be playing Kell the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Titans will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
