The Apostles Lutheran Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 47-22 walloping at the hands of Oakwood. Apostles Lutheran has not had much luck with Oakwood recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Apostles Lutheran's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Hally Zou, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals, and Aniela Falzarano who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals. Zou is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
Apostles Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Oakwood, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Apostles Lutheran will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Calvary Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Oakwood, they will be playing at home against Anzar at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Anzar and Oakwood are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
