Softball Recap: Wilber-Clatonia Takes a Loss

Wilber-Clatonia lost against Centura back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centurions. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peyton Mischnick was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Wilber-Clatonia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Centura, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, Wilber-Clatonia will host Fillmore Central on Thursday. The Wolverines' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Centura, they are taking a road trip to challenge O'Neill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
