Soccer Recap: Aquinas' Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Aquinas's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Woodcrest Christian Royals a 1-0 shutout. The victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Aquinas' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9-3. As for Woodcrest Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aquinas will take on Linfield Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodcrest Christian, they will challenge Loma Linda Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodcrest Christian's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
