Basketball Recap: John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sacramento Waldorf Waves. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Waves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Despite the defeat, John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills saw an underclassman step up: freshman Keliah Gregg dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Gregg is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Hope O'Meara, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.

John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4. As for Sacramento Waldorf, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
