Volleyball Game Preview: 21st Century Charter Cougars vs. Boone Grove Wolves

The 21st Century Charter Cougars will face off against the Boone Grove Wolves at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

21st Century Charter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Lighthouse College Prep Academy 3-0. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Boone Grove got the win against Whiting on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

21st Century Charter better keep an eye on Lauren Voudrie. She was instrumental in Boone Grove's win, getting 18 digs and four assists. Voudrie has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

Boone Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 15 consecutive matchups.

Boone Grove's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for 21st Century Charter, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
