Softball Recap: Briarwood Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Briarwood Academy won the last time they faced Lincoln County and things went their way on Monday too. The Buccaneers blew past the Red Devils 11-2. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

The win (which was Briarwood Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Briarwood Academy will square off against Harlem at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lincoln County, they will head out to challenge Academy of Richmond County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
