After a string of five wins, West Sioux's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Le Mars Bulldogs by a score of 3-2.

West Sioux's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2-1. As for Le Mars, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3-1.

West Sioux and Le Mars should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings.
