Basketball Recap: Riverside Prep Find Success

Riverside Prep won the last time they faced Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Riverside Prep Silver Knights slipped by Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy 31-30. The 31-point effort marked the Silver Knights' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Several Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Michelle Otuonye, who posted five points in addition to 22 boards and seven blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jha?Nyaa Ardon, who had ten points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Riverside Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
