Baseball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Stanton Blue Devils. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 20-5 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Riverside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Skipper, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Riverside will square off against Cornerstone Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stanton, they will take on Old Plank Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
