Football Game Recap: Minnesota Valley Lutheran vs. Kenyon-Wanamingo

Minnesota Valley Lutheran had a rough outing against Medford last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Minnesota Valley Lutheran snuck past Kenyon-Wanamingo with a 26-20 victory. Kenyon-Wanamingo can consider this payback for the 16-34 defeat they dealt Minnesota Valley Lutheran the last time the teams encountered one another.

The win bumped Minnesota Valley Lutheran's record up to 3-6. This is the second loss in a row for Kenyon-Wanamingo and nudges their record down to 2-6.

Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will stay at home next week against Cedar Mountain/Comfrey at 4:00 PM. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will be strutting in after a win while Cedar Mountain/Comfrey will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, they will go up against Lewiston-Altura.
