After losing to Coffee the last time they met, Houston County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bears walked away with a 4-1 win over the Trojans on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Houston County's win bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Coffee, they moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Houston County will square off against Tift County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Coffee, they will challenge Brantley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Herons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
