Shady Side Academy extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Northwestern. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 win over the Northwestern Wildcats. The 46-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Despite the loss, Northwestern still got an impressive performance from Makayla Presser-Palmer, who posted 22 points and eight boards. The contest was Presser-Palmer's 23rd in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Bucci, who earned eight points and six rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Shady Side Academy and bumps their season record up to 26-1. As for Northwestern, with the defeat, they broke their 25-game winning streak and moved their record to 25-1.

As of now, neither Shady Side Academy nor Northwestern have any future games scheduled.
