Basketball Recap: Claire Harvey and Bailey Hull Secure Win for Southern Fulton + How To Watch

Southern Fulton hadn't done well against Tussey Mountain recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Indians snuck past the Titans with a 43-37 win. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 68-37 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Southern Fulton was led to victory by Bailey Hull and Claire Harvey. Hull shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points along with seven steals and six boards, while Harvey went 7-for-16 en route to 21 points and four steals. Harvey's big performance that evening made it 19 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Mae Hoopengardner, who posted two points and five blocks.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karah Husick, who had 11 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hillary Horton, who earned eight points.

Southern Fulton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Tussey Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Fulton will square off against Hancock at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tussey Mountain, they will face off against Forbes Road at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
