Softball Recap: Berrien Comes Up Short

Berrien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cook Hornets, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-5 last Wednesday.

Berrien's loss dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Cook, their win bumped their record up to 22-4.

Berrien has already played their next matchup, a 10-9 defeat against Academy for Classical Education on the 15th. As for Cook, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Coahulla Creek on the 15th.
