Football Recap: Lacey Township Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lacey Township's offense. They were beaten by the Southern Regional Rams 35-0 on Friday. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 28-7 to the Rams when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lacey Township's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southern Regional, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Lacey Township will square off against Toms River East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Southern Regional, they will face off against Manchester Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
