While Cedaredge put up plenty of  runs on Monday, the same  can't be said for Aspen. The Bruins blew past the Skiers 17-0. Considering the Bruins have won eight games by more than nine  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
Cedaredge got a  massive  performance out of  Jewel Laliberte, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Meri Hollembeak, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Cedaredge was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .889. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .300 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Cedaredge's record is now 9-2. As for Aspen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Coming up, Cedaredge will square off against Grand Junction at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Aspen, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Basalt  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Longhorns have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.09  runs per game on average), something the Skiers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
