Soccer Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors. Clinton have struggled against Calamus-Wheatland recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Calamus-Wheatland, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

Clinton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against North Scott on the 14th. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they will face off against Iowa City at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
