Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Mcnair

If Antioch wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played McNair, they should've done a better job of containing Anjulie Navarro. The Eagles strolled past the Panthers with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 61-46 with plenty of help from Navarro, who shot 41% from the field on her way to 33 points in addition to five boards and three steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of McNair's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kylena Mancha, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 46.4% shooting accuracy.

The victory made it two in a row for McNair and bumps their season record up to 3-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Antioch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.

McNair wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-64 victory against Weston Ranch on the 20th. As for Antioch, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-19 loss against Liberty on the 20th.
