Softball Preview: McCook Bison vs. Alliance Bulldogs
McCook has been away from home for seven games now, but on Monday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Alliance Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. McCook is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
McCook's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Thursday, when they got past St. Cecilia's usually-dominant pitching crew. McCook skirted past St. Cecilia 10-9.
Dani Johnson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Roslyn Wiemers, who went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Alliance lost 18-6 to Chadron on Saturday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as their game on Saturday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
McCook has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. As for Alliance, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-23.
