Soccer Game Preview: Berkeley vs. Wando + Official Tickets

Berkeley is 0-10 against Wando since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Stags will head out to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row, Berkeley turned things around against Goose Creek on Friday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Stags who were credited with the win.

Paul Pessoa and Jon Tucker scored both of Berkeley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Wando is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Stratford, who was ranked sixth at the time (Wando was ranked first). The Warriors never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday. Wando have beaten Stratford the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Stratford has come to flipping the script.

Wando's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Berkeley, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-12.

Berkeley might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Wando in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Stags avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
