Snowflake won the last time they faced Round Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Lobos came out on top against the Elks by a score of 8-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.

Jaxon Merrill made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Edge Bryant was excellent, going 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kasen Rogers, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Snowflake's record now sits at 8-5-1. As for Round Valley, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Snowflake will take on Winslow at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Round Valley, they will square off against Hopi at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
