Softball Recap: Franklin County Takes a Loss

Hebron Christian hit Franklin County with a four-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Franklin County fell 6-2 to Hebron Christian. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hebron Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 on September 9th.

Franklin County has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Hebron Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin County will take on Stephens County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hebron Christian, they will square off against St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
