Ruston is 8-2 against Pineville since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bearcats will be playing at home against the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Ruston's favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home while Pineville has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Tuesday, Ruston didn't have quite enough to beat Ouachita Christian and fell 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by just one run.

Meanwhile, Pineville posted their closest win since March 7th on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lacassine, sneaking past 4-2.

The victory got Pineville back to even at 12-12. As for Ruston, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-8.
