Soccer Recap: Lamar County Comes Up Short

The Lamar County Trojans didn't have quite enough to beat the First Presbyterian Day Vikings on Tuesday and fell 3-2. Lamar County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaden Wilson and Caleb Miller scored both of Lamar County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Lamar County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for First Presbyterian Day, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamar County will welcome Academy for Classical Education at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Academy for Classical Education will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Lamar County surely won't give up without a fight. As for First Presbyterian Day, they will square off against Piedmont Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
