Baseball Recap: Kellogg Comes Up Short

Kellogg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parchment. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kellogg of the 15-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Keegan Hill led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Cole Palmer, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Parchment, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-9-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Parchment beat Kellogg by a score of 16-1 later that day.
