Basketball Recap: Homestead Takes a Loss

Homestead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 72-31 loss at the hands of the Los Gatos Wildcats. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 75-49 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Los Gatos, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lynbrook the next time they take the court. Homestead will head out to face Lynbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Los Gatos will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
