Eastside strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Morgan County Bulldogs. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Eastside's win bumped their record up to 24-0. As for Morgan County, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Eastside will challenge Buford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Morgan County, they will host Lamar County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
