Football Recap: Litchfield Dragons vs. Holy Family Catholic Fire
The matchup between Litchfield and Holy Family Catholic on Wednesday hardly resembled the 23-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Litchfield Dragons came up short against the Holy Family Catholic Fire, falling 42-21. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fire apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.
Tanner Davis was his usual excellent self, rushing for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, while also picking up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown for Holy Family Catholic.
Litchfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Holy Family Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
