Thomasville barely beat Worth County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs never let the Rams get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Khiler Oehlhof, who gave up just a hit to keep Worth County off the board. Oehlhof has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cece Myers was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run. Emma Reichert was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Thomasville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Worth County only posted an OBP of .048.

Thomasville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Worth County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Coming up, Thomasville will head out on the road to face off against Seminole County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Worth County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bainbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.31 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
