Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Patriot's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Patriot won the last time they faced Rubidoux, and Kayla Gonzalez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Patriot Warriors took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 66-10 victory over the Rubidoux Falcons thanks in part to Gonzalez, who almost dropped a triple-double on 32 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Patriot's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Laela Perez, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Patriot is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.2 points. As for Rubidoux, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
