Basketball Recap: West Covina Comes Up Short

West Covina lost against Rowland back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The West Covina Bulldogs lost 57-32 to the Rowland Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 731st, while the Raiders are ranked 285th).

Rowland was led to victory by Adrienne Bausley and Isabella Tran. Bausley almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards, while Tran posted 20 points and five rebounds. The match was Tran's fifth in a row with at least 19 points.

West Covina's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Rowland, they pushed their record up to 19-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

West Covina didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-36 victory against Charter Oak on the 5th. As for Rowland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-32 win against Northview on the 5th.
