Volleyball Recap: College Station Comes Up Short

College Station lost against Tompkins back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tompkins found their leader in sophomore Ava Shepard, who had 11 assists and five digs.

College Station's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Tompkins, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

College Station will face off against Kingwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tompkins, they will challenge Torrey Pines at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
