Baseball Recap: Rome Takes a Loss

Rome lost against East Paulding last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolves took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Wolves' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Rome's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for East Paulding, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rome is set to take on their familiar foe Villa Rica at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, East Paulding will square off against rival Lithia Springs at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
