Softball Game Preview: Choctawhatchee Indians vs. Arnold Marlins

The Choctawhatchee Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Arnold Marlins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Choctawhatchee is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They lost 11-1 to Crestview. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly ten runs.

Choctawhatchee saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgyn Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Arnold came up short against Chiles on Friday, falling 14-4.

Laela Kern made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Hayley Sexton was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Choctawhatchee's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Arnold, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Choctawhatchee couldn't quite finish off Arnold in their previous matchup back in March and fell 12-10. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
