Westlake is 8-0-2 against Agoura since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Westlake Warriors will host the Agoura Chargers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Westlake has three straight victories, Agoura has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Westlake's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Calabasas 3-0. Considering the Warriors have won three games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Agoura managed to keep up with Newbury Park until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Agoura came up short against Newbury Park, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 649th, while the Panthers are ranked 161st).

Westlake pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Agoura, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Everything went Westlake's way against Agoura when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Westlake made off with a 5-0 victory. Does Westlake have another victory up their sleeve, or will Agoura turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
