Baseball Recap: Marist Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marist can now relate to. They came up short against the Union Grove Wolverines on Wednesday, falling 13-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the War Eagles have suffered since March 21st.

This is the second loss in a row for Marist and nudges their season record down to 18-15. As for Union Grove, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat Marist by a score of 13-1 later that day.
