Pitman has gone 10-0 against Downey recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pitman Pride will take on the Downey Knights at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pitman is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Enochs just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. Neither they nor the Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Pride happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, Downey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to Turlock. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Knights were already down 3-0.

Pitman's draw makes their record 7-1-1 this season. As for Downey, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.

Pitman took their win against Downey in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Pitman repeat their success, or does Downey have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
