Soccer Game Preview: Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory vs. Presentation

The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish are taking a road trip to take on the Presentation Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Terra Nova. Considering the Fightin' Irish's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Presentation was forced to settle for a draw. They and Branham finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw back in December of 2024.

Presentation hit Branham with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Katherine Kelly (2), Jacinda Bateman, and Meredith Matsumoto.

With that draw, Presentation's record moves to 6-3-1. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, their win bumped their record up to 6-2-2.
