Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for University Prep

University Prep entered their tilt with Central Valley on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: University Prep took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-5, 25-9.

Audrey Berg paced University Prep's offense, picking up 11 kills. Berg got some help from Addison Maikranz and her 22 assists. Berg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

University Prep's record now sits at 18-7. As for Central Valley, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-24.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Anderson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Central Valley will challenge rival Yreka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
