It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hamilton had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Quincy Trojans. The victory continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.

Austin 'Stewy' Studybaker and Hayden 'Chicken Joe' Boles did most of the damage at the plate: Studybaker went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while 'Chicken Joe' Boles went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Mark Steele, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hamilton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive contests.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Quincy, they dropped their record down to 11-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will take on Biggs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Braves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. Quincy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
