Volleyball Recap: Pebble Hills Comes Up Short

Pebble Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Eastwood Troopers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Troopers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18, 25-18.

Pebble Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-16-1. As for Eastwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pebble Hills will challenge rival Socorro at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eastwood is set to take on their familiar foe Coronado at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
