Sam Houston won the last time they faced Carter and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Texans came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Texans.

The win didn't come easy: Carter scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 23-25, 25-21.

Sam Houston's victory bumped their record up to 5-13-1. As for Carter, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Sam Houston and Carter will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Texans are set to challenge their familiar foe South Grand Prairie at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carter will square off against rival North Dallas at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
