Alleman won the last time they faced Kewanee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pioneers came out on top against the Boilermakers by a score of 17-13. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

The team relied heavily on Connor Fox, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had over his last 14 games. Gavin Wilburn also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Alleman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Alleman's record is now 19-15. As for Kewanee, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-26.

Coming up, Alleman will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Biggsville West Central at 4:30 p.m. The Heat have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.43 runs per game on average), something the Pioneers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Kewanee, they are taking a road trip to face off against East Moline United at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Boilermakers will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
