Basketball Recap: North Hollywood Comes Up Short

North Hollywood was the 37-24 winner over Grant when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North Hollywood Huskies fell 33-26 to the Grant Lancers on Wednesday. The Huskies' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

North Hollywood's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Grant, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

North Hollywood will challenge Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Hollywood is facing Chavez at the right time seeing as Chavez is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grant, they will head out on the road to challenge Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grant will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Monroe will have lost six straight heading into Friday's contest.
