The Bennett Tigers will challenge the Florence Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Bennett lost 26-10 to Fort Lupton on Thursday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bennett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colby Robichaud, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Robichaud has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another was Grace Mathis, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Florence made easy work of Mitchell on Tuesday and carried off a 16-6 victory. Considering the Huskies have won seven matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Dalton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Dalton was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in September.
In other batting news, Lilly Roe was excellent, going 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Makala Miller, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Florence kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Florence now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Bennett, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Bennett hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Florence struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.4 home runs.
