Softball Recap: Atkinson County Comes Up Short

Atkinson County lost against Charlton County back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rebels came up short against the Indians, falling 11-2. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atkinson County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Charlton County, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Atkinson County will square off against rival Echols County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Charlton County is set to challenge their familiar foe Lanier County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
