Softball Recap: Falls City Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Falls City had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Nebraska City Pioneers on Thursday, falling 13-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Looking ahead, Falls City will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Wilber-Clatonia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nebraska City, they have already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on the 23rd.
