Prospect typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Christopher proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 49-41 win over the Prospect Panthers. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Prospect's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sadie Slaughter, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. That was a full 34.1% of Prospect's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Akeisha McDaid, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Christopher's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Prospect, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, Christopher will challenge Leland at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Prospect, they will take on Branham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
